The main building rooftop is finally open to the public!

◆The rooftop will be open to the public from October 1st, 2025!◆

Thank you for your continued patronage of the Museum of Aeronautical Sciences.
In order to provide comfortable and engaging learning experiences, our museum strives daily to maintain and improve its facilities and enhance its exhibits, including expanding its exhibition areas, repairing and preserving exhibits, and renovating its facilities.
As part of this initiative, starting October 1st, the rooftop of the main building, which has previously been off-limits to the public, will finally be open to the public!
From the rooftop, you can see planes taking off and landing at Narita Airport from a higher vantage point than from the observation exhibition room on the 5th floor.
This is a new spot that aviation fans must see, where you can experience the power of airplanes up close in an open space and get a panoramic view of Narita Airport!

◎Please be careful with your hat and personal belongings.
◎In the event of rain or strong winds, the event will be cancelled.
◎Please note that cameras are installed on the roof, and monitoring and recording are conducted to ensure safety and monitor for dangerous behavior.
◎Please note that the rooftop can only be accessed via stairs from the 5th floor, so wheelchairs and strollers are not accessible.
